Who We Are
Muni Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee company rooted in quality, creativity, and community. Founded in London and now based in Lindau, we bring fresh, urban energy to everything we do — from brewing exceptional coffee to crafting a seasonal, bold food menu.
Our passionate and agile team is growing fast. Our flagship café, opening August 2025 in Lindau’s main shopping center, features an open, vibrant kitchen where great food meets great coffee in a modern, welcoming space.
About the Role
We’re seeking a creative, organised, and passionate Breakfast Chef to lead the kitchen at our new café and roastery. This hands-on role suits someone who loves early mornings, seasonal produce, and dynamic hospitality.
You’ll deliver a fresh brunch menu blending Philippine-inspired flavours, London-style brunch, and classic German favourites. Expect vibrant breakfast plates, handmade pastries, artisan loaves, and signature tray bakes — all made in-house with care.
Working closely with the founders and café manager, you’ll help shape a menu that reflects our commitment to quality, creativity, and craft.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch dishes to high standards
Bake pastries, tray bakes, and artisan breads consistently
Collaborate on menu development aligned with Muni’s vision
Maintain HACCP and food safety standards
Manage mise en place, inventory, and kitchen cleanliness
Lead and mentor a small kitchen team, fostering a positive culture
Communicate effectively with front-of-house for smooth service
We’re looking for someone with:
Who is passionate about specilaty coffee
Minimum 1 year kitchen experience especially in a busy coffee shop, ideally with baking skills
Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
Strong organisational skills and cleanliness focus
Leadership skills and a team-player attitude
Flexibility and enthusiasm for seasonal menu changes
Basic German or fluent English
A positive, hardworking, and eager-to-learn mindset
