We are seeking a skilled and passionate Experienced Barista to join our team at Lil Bake, a new breakfast and brunch-focused café. The ideal candidate will have proven barista experience, strong knowledge of specialty coffee, and hands-on experience working with high-end espresso machines such as Victoria Arduino or La Marzocco. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages with consistency and precision. Operate and maintain Victoria Arduino or La Marzocco espresso machines to ensure optimal performance and coffee quality. Maintain high standards of coffee quality, presentation, and customer service. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and enhancing their experience. Support the front-of-house team with food orders, table service, and general customer care. Ensure the café environment remains clean, organised, and welcoming. Monitor inventory levels of coffee supplies and assist in stock management. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a barista in a busy café or coffee shop is essential. Extensive knowledge of specialty coffee, including brewing methods, flavour profiles, and latte art. Experience operating and maintaining Victoria Arduino or La Marzocco espresso machines. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills. Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and peak times. A genuine passion for coffee and delivering memorable customer experiences.
What We Offer: Pay: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
