About Us: Coneheads is a new food and coffee concept launching in Ilford this August. We serve speciality coffee and sweet cones with bold, comfort-led toppings all from a compact, fast-paced street hatch.

We’re building our founding team and are looking for a dedicated, experienced and hands-on Store Manager to help us launch and lead day-to-day operations.

The Role: As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the full daily running of the site, from coffee and food quality to team performance and customer experience. You’ll be working side-by-side with your team, setting the tone, pace, and standards for everything that goes out the hatch.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading daily operations with a focus on speed, quality, and service

Managing rotas, shift planning, and staff performance

Overseeing food prep and on-site production

Maintaining excellent coffee and food standards

Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all hygiene regs

Handling stock management, deliveries and ordering

Supporting hiring and training of new staff

Working closely with the founder to implement systems, solve challenges, and improve operations

About You:

You have previous experience in hospitality or café management

You’re confident leading small teams in fast-paced environments

You have a solid understanding of both food and coffee service

You’re highly organised, reliable, and lead by example

You’re comfortable multitasking and staying calm under pressure

You bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for quality service
